What an auspicious date for a first firing! Hot air balloons, a spectacular kiln, and talent all in a beautiful setting….what a wonderful life you have…and a fantastic kiln load of lovelies!
so fabulous Terry!! what a great kiln– and a phenomenal kiln load! your work is so beautiful!
Impressive work!! May each kiln load be as beautiful.
Wonderful to see your work in your own kiln!
Congratulations, Terry! I, too, have kiln envy!
Oh I am green…..GREEN with envy! It’s beautiful! So even, great color, no icky soot marks. Like an engineer built the thing it’s so pristine. Makes you wonder how you limped along in my kiln for so long! Congrats!
Thanks all! I’m still in awe of it myself. Waited a long time for this kiln – and Elaine, don’t know what I would have done without yours – miss coming down to glaze and seeing what you are up to terribly!
Beautiful! I think you’ve sparked a run on kilns all by yourself. . . or at least wishes for kilns. Congratulations on an excellent firing.
Beautiful work and kiln! Those are some impressive shelves if they won’t sag with the corner cantilevered out so much – do you have to flip the shelves every firing?
*Very* exciting day. Congratulations!
Thanks Patty!
Jim – they are impressive shelves. I don’t have to flip them but I can and I probably will.
how exciting! you’ve been busy!
Terry! I gasped with wonder at the pre- and post- firing photos….So lovely and exciting, I felt as if I actually was standing there.
Aren’t you thrilled and proud? You certainly deserve this incredible studio and kiln. Go you! Make great stuff.
Liz – I am beyond thrilled with this kiln. Can’t wait to do my second firing!
